IT WAS only with the gigantic success of ‘Rhythm Of The Night’ that the name DeBarge registered with a UK audience, but in the States they’ve already had two near million sellers with their albums, ‘All This Love’ and ‘In A Special Way’ which have helped them build up the kind of momentum that means you’ll be hearing a lot more of them.

White Heat was an album released in 1975, produced by R&B notable Barry White. The album included future Switch members Gregory Williams, Bobby DeBarge and Jody Sims. This particular song, "I've Been So Lonely" features lead vocals by Bobby DeBarge.

Flashback Article: DeBarge: All This Love. Washington Afro-American, 1983.


DeBarge, the progressive singing group from Motown is back with its second album, All This Love. The first LP for this close-knit family was not quite as successful as expected, but with this second album comes the realization that DeBarge -- Bunny, Marty, Randy, El, and James -- definitely have fame in their future and talent to back it up.
